Potters Croft, in the quiet fishing village of Dunalley, is set amongst the gum trees on a magnificent property.

Share the panoramic view with the sea eagles, take a walk along our quiet foreshore of this waterfront retreat.

Exploring the Tasman Peninsula is easy from here, the history of the convicts, whalers and seafarers is rich. Port Arthur, Richmond and Hobart are within easy reach (30-45 mins). The rugged cliffs, the sandy beaches and the rainforest walks will remain treasured in your memory.

Stylish best describes the 4-star lodge accommodation, built by ourselves using Tasmanian timbers and original convict made bricks. The spacious loft rooms are private with en-suite bathrooms, queen-size beds, television and a microwave. The décor is modern with warm country charm. Guests may use the fully equipped kitchen downstairs to prepare meals and relax in the comfortably appointed lounge/dining area by a log fire.

Potters Croft Cottage, in a similar style, is a cosy and fully self contained, two-bedroom timber cottage with a wood heater. It is enclosed by a picket fence so we accept guests who are travelling with well-behaved dogs.

Discover Bangor with us. A 6200-hectare private farming property that has been in the Dunbabin family for 5 generations since European settlement.

Let us take you to the first European landing site in Australia by Dutchman Abel Tasman in 1642 virtually unchanged since his arrival. There are fascinating stories to tell of shore-based whaling stations, early sealing and maritime activities, Aboriginal occupation of the area, native bird sanctuaries, wombat grazing lawns and marsupial hide-outs, and a glimpse into award-winning farming practices.

Visit Bangor in a day or better still, stay in our fully equipped private beach camp. Choose between twin-share or double tents with comfortable mattresses and linen provided. We provide fresh local produce direct from the fisherman and wine from our Tasmanian cellar.

Allow us to unlock the secrets of the South-east region as you escape to a natural playground where privacy, comfort and seclusion are to be found.
