Exploring the Tasman Peninsula is easy from here, the history of the convicts, whalers and seafarers is rich. Port Arthur, Richmond and Hobart are within easy reach (30-45 mins). Rugged cliffs sandy beaches and rainforest walks all close by.

Stylish best describes the 4-star lodge accommodation, built by ourselves using Tasmanian timbers and original convict made bricks. The spacious loft rooms are private with en-suite bathrooms, queen-size beds, television and a microwave. The décor is modern with warm country charm. Guests may use the fully equipped kitchen – gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, all crockery, cutlery and cookware provided. Hand crafted dining table seats 10-12 persons. Enjoy a bottle of our local Bream Creek wine, we stock the full range.

The local fish market is open every day for freshly caught fish, oysters or locally smoked fish, mussles and tuna. Relax in the comfortably appointed lounge/dining area by a log fire.

Potters Croft Cottage, in a similar style, is a cosy and fully self contained, two-bedroom timber cottage with a wood heater. It is enclosed by a picket fence so we accept guests who are travelling with well-behaved dogs.

• The S/C cottage sleeps one double and two singles or 2 double and 1 single (sleeps 4 persons)

• The lodge has 3 spacious loft rooms and downstairs, a guests lounge and kitchen with a log fire:

• Room 1 is king size with en-suite and kitchenette (sleeps 2 persons)

• Room 2 is queen size en-suite (semi self contained) & has two single beds in a second bedroom (sleeps 4 persons)

• Room 3 is a queen size en-suite with kitchenette & single bed in the same room (sleeps 3 persons)

• Cot and trundle beds available

We supply hearty continental breakfast provisions for all guests. A selection of cereals, locally baked bread, homemade jams & marmalade, orange juice, freshly ground coffee, milk, butter, Tasmanian yogurt, fresh fruit & a selection of herbal & exotic teas. Also, complimentary port to go with your plate of supper goodies.
